Happy Holidays, from Fred Astaire.

From the charming man who brought you Holiday Inn, one of the greatest films of all time, here he is again with another holiday movie-Santa Claus is Coming to Town. I love this song. It was on tonight. By the time I post this though it may not have been. I spent like an hour crying over youtube's stupid new design. Anyway, Fred is always charming and a pleasure, he puts things in prespective so without further ado. The lovely debonair himself, Fred Astaire.

It's FINALLY here!

This is the project I've been working on forever. I have worked SO hard so please check it out.
It was inspired by the movie poster I have posted in a previous entry. I intend to share it with as many people as possible because I worked too long for it not to be noticed at all.

special channels. Just trust me....If you're a follower of my blog at all or I attend your blog, you may want to check this out.
We all have those movies we can't get our hands on, like at all, like on television, the store, or youtube. We want to be able to watch them before we dish out 20 bucks plus shipping to get it from amazon. Besides, not all of these older movies are prizewinners, you're just glad you watched them, and move on with your life, certainly never really promoting them...You save that for a time when the movie really matters to you because as any young person knows, getting your peers to care about something like this can be a really uphill battle. So you pick. these channels are THE channels (and some of their friends) that are able to help you decide whether to dish out cash or not. This blog is not that popular, nor do I care, I would actually not post this if it was, because let's just keep it to ourselves. These channels are amazing. Also when you get time...check out mine www.youtube.com/user/Oldtelivisionrocks

Disney Classics 1930s-1949

Movies
So Dear to my Heart
Bambi
Snow White
Dumbo
(Wind and the Willows-was made into a movie later combined with the Legend of Sleepy Hollow)
Song of the South
Pinnochio
The Three Caballeros
There are NUMEROUS shorts that I know or have seen
Ferdinand the Bull (1938)
Three Blind Musketeers

1. Never seen So Dear to My Heart- I would if they ever put more of it out, right? Ugh. It was one of the very few originals. Why don't they have it out?
2. I love Wind and the Willows combined with Sleepy Hollow, saw it like 2 years ago. 2 words, BING CROSBY!!!!!
3. Song of the South (along with Dumbo it gets a bad rap for being racist BUT, if you do your research- they were just keeping to what you may have found...especially in Dumbo-those crows yips were stuff off of backstage talk of like say Louis Armstrong record)
4. They need to promote more stuff like the Three Caballeros.
5. Blind Musketeers! There is countless others but some unusual ones I noticed. And who knew Ferdinand the Bull?
